    Emergency Beacon Lights

As we are all aware, every second counts in an emergency. To enable all emergency personnel, EMS, Fire Department and Law Enforcement, to recognize a location a lot easier and faster, we are are selling  the Emergency Beacon as a fundraiser for $5.00. We will be glad to come out and install and show you how to use it.  The Emergency Beacon is a small device that installs in a porch light or lamp. Normal use of your porch light or front room lamp will not be interrupted. However, in an emergency, you simply turn the light switch on and off twice to activate the flashing Emergency Beacon. The lamp will flash continuously for two hours. Your Emergency Beacon should be activated whenever you call 911 so responding units can find you easier and FASTER!!

It is the goal of the Rustburg Rescue Squad to have these bulbs throughout the County to assist in making our County a much safer place to live. For further information regarding the Emergency Beacon, please contact Chris Leebrick at 434-610-8267.
